AUA 2025 LAB Webinar Series: What Does it Take to Be a Good Leader?

There is never a shortage of good leaders and this is just as true in medicine as it is in any industry.  Historically, clinical leaders have often been selected based upon their clinical acumen and/or their research prowess.  While clinical acumen and research are important factors to consider, today's healthcare physician leaders also need to understand the business side of medicine, regulatory compliance, operational skills and most importantly, they need leadership skills.  This presentation will discuss some of those skills and provide avenues/suggestions on how to acquire them.
